Favorite Mexican dessert recipes
Many of my traditional Mexican entrees like Enchiladas, Tacos, or Green Chile Burritos are perfect for serving with these traditional Mexican desserts. A great dessert can be elevated with a great topping. Here are a few ways to sweeten up your favorite postre to your taste:
Drizzle Mexican chocolate sauce or dulce de leche (Caramel Sauce) over treats. Serve it with a classic scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Garnish favorites with fresh strawberries or other fresh fruit and Whipped Cream. Add different kinds of milk, like sweet milk or heavy cream to Arroz con Leche or Mexican Hot Chocolate. Incorporate coconut or add a bit of cocoa powder to change the flavor.
