For Artichoke Lovers!

Our kids would eat pizza for dinner every night if we let them! We usually have pizza at least one night a week and always start with our Homemade Pizza Dough. Then we get creative! While cheese and our Pepperoni Pizza Recipe are go-to’s, this artichoke pizza is a favorite easy dinner idea! It’s a great vegetarian option along with our lighter Tomato Pizza.

PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 11 minutes

1 ball of pizza dough – A 12-inch pizza will need about 14-16 ounces of dough. Use a Homemade Pizza Dough recipe, store-bought dough, or an already-baked flatbread pizza crust. 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 teaspoon minced garlic ¾ cup marinated artichokes, chopped – Find marinated artichoke hearts in a jar in the canned vegetables section of the grocery store or the international section.  8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese – Switch up the cheese and use a pizza blend. For a unique flavor use pecorino romano cheese or fontina cheese. 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese fresh basil – sliced
