Few Ingredients
boneless skinless chicken breasts – Thighs, wings, drumsticks, and breasts all make great BBQ chicken. Cooking time will vary depending on what type you use. Bone-in cuts and dark meat like legs and thighs will take a few minutes longer to cook. See below for cooking tips. Worcestershire sauce brown sugar apple cider vinegar ketchup paprika garlic powder extra virgin olive oil butter salt and pepper – to taste
Just Season + Bake!
PREP. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE. In a small bowl, whisk together Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and the next seven ingredients. Pour ⅓ of the sauce into the prepared baking dish. Place chicken in a single layer on top of the sauce. Pour ⅓ of the remaining sauce over the chicken. BAKE. Bake chicken for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Brush chicken with remaining barbecue sauce if desired, along with any salt or pepper and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Storage Info
STORE leftover baked BBQ chicken breast in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. FREEZE. Store in the freezer for up to 2 months. It is great to use in other recipes.
