Appetizers are a must-have at any function, especially New Year’s or holiday parties. It was actually at a holiday party that we were introduced to this dip years ago. Since then, we make Buffalo Chicken Dip any chance we can get because we love it so much, and it’s a party favorite. Here’s what keeps us coming back for more:

Delicious. It’s a dip with all the flavor of Buffalo Wings (without all the work) and is certainly addicting. Easy. It’s REALLY simple to make. It only takes about 5 minutes of prep. Customizable. Depending on how strong you like your flavors, you can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce or blue cheese to your liking.

shredded cooked chicken – Cook up a batch of Shredded Chicken, shred a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, or use canned chicken (drained). cream cheese – softened buffalo sauce – store bought or Homemade Buffalo Sauce ranch dressing – store bought or Homemade Ranch Dressing shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip

STORE. Leftovers will generally last for 2-3 days in the fridge. FREEZE. If you happen to have a lot left over, freeze the leftovers for 3-4 months to be used later. Make ahead of time. Make this ahead of time and store it in the fridge for 1-2 days or in the freezer for 3-4 months. When you’re ready to use it, follow the cooking directions as written. If it was frozen, thaw in the refrigerator before cooking. To reheat in the microwave: use a microwave-safe dish. Heat on high for 30-40 seconds at a time stirring in between. Continue heating until you’ve reached your desired temperature. To reheat in the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place dip in an oven-safe baking dish. Baking time will vary depending on the amount of leftovers. Start with 7-9 minutes. If it needs more time, bake longer, checking frequently until you’ve reached your desired temperature.
