Sometimes we crave a good butterscotch treat like Butterscotch Cornflake Cookies or Butterscotch Brownies. However, you can’t go wrong with our favorite butterscotch cookies! We LOVE cookies and often get creative with our Best Chocolate Chip Cookies. Why not a butterscotch twist? Our entire family loves them – they are pretty addicting! Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter – If using salted butter omit the added salt. Try our How to Soften Butter Quickly post – if the butter is too warm it may result in flat cookies. 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup brown sugar – light brown sugar, use dark brown sugar for a slightly chewier texture 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour – How to Measure Flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups butterscotch chips – combine or substitute with milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or peanut butter chips
