Goodness dipped in goodness
We are chocolate lovers and can never get enough of those Oreo sandwich cookies (who doesn’t love Cookies and cream?!) And yes, they are great on their own, but have you ever dipped them in chocolate?! They’re AMAZING, and now we make them every year and customize them for parties, cookie plates, holidays and more.
Ingredients
PREP TIME: 35 minutes
36 Oreo cookies – Try flavors from chocolate to golden, regular cream to peanut butter cream, and thin, regular, or double stuff. 16-ounce candy coating – I recommend using a high-quality chocolate or candy coating. We love Ghirardelli melting wafers for dipping fruit, candies, and chocolate. Almond bark and baking chocolates also work. 1 cup sprinkles – Coordinate the sprinkles with the holiday. Other toppings include chopped nuts, crushed candy cane, mini M&Ms, or coconut flakes. Add toppings when the chocolate is still wet.
How to Make Chocolate Covered Oreos
If chocolate begins to pool, use a toothpick to “cut” the pool away from the treat. If a foot has set, simply break/trim it off. Recipe Video Recipe Video
