Chocolate on chocolate
Let’s be honest, we LOVE chocolate! Well, what is better than chocolate on chocolate?! These chocolate kiss cookies sure deliver. Not only are they perfectly chocolatey, but they are easy, and whip up in only 15 minutes. These cookies make sweet gifts too. You could even top some with Hershey Hugs and send some “hugs and kisses” to brighten a day. If you’re not as much of a chocolate fan, but you enjoy a good chocolate + peanut butter combo, you’ll probably like our Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies.
Ingredients
PREP TIME: 5 minutes COOK TIME: 10 minutes
1 cup butter, softened – How to Soften Butter Quickly. We used unsalted butter, but salted can be used. 1½ cups sugar 2 large eggs – Room temperature eggs incorporate best. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour – How to Measure Flour ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder ¾ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt – Reduce or omit if using salted butter. ½ cup sugar – or colored sugar or powdered sugar Hershey Kisses, about 24 – Use different flavored kisses such as candy cane kisses, mint kisses, peanut butter kisses, or Hugs.
