An Easy Twist on a FAvorite!

We LOVE classic bruschetta but decided to make another version that is even simpler and JUST as delicious! This classic Italian appetizer comes from my Aunt Georgie who has been making this easy bruschetta recipe for years. We always request it at family gatherings. This particular version is made even easier – 5 ingredients and ready to serve in only 15 minutes! It doesn’t get much easier than that. And be sure to check our Bruschetta Chicken – which we love to make when we have leftover bruschetta mixture!

Ingredients

PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 4 minutes

1 (16-ounce) can Italian diced tomatoes – Mix up your own Italian diced tomatoes using 4 chopped Roma tomatoes, ½ teaspoon basil, and ½ teaspoon oregano. 3 Roma tomatoes 2½ tablespoons minced garlic – How to Mince Garlic 4 tablespoons olive oil – extra virgin olive oil ¾ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped shaved Parmesan – optional 1 baguette – or another similarly sized loaf of bread, Italian Bread, Sourdough Bread, hogi roll, French Bread, or ciabatta bread ¼ cup butter – We used unsalted, but salted works well too. ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
