Easy Frozen Banana Pops Recipe Highlights
We never have enough summer-snacking ideas, right? I don’t know about your kids, but mine are always hungry!! With the hot weather, swimming, and other activities, they seem to always ask for snacks. Of course, fresh fruit and vegetables are some of the best snacks, but sometimes, we need to get creative to make them exciting and fun. Especially if you have two picky eaters like me. So, I decided to prepare a week’s worth of snacks on Sunday. That way, I can easily control what they eat and also have snacks on hand for the kids to grab when they need them. This was my first time making banana pops, and they’re super easy to make! They’re perfect to have in your freezer for hot summer days when everyone’s craving something cold, delicious, and refreshing. I coated my bananas with white and dark chocolate and a variety of toppings: crushed Shredded Wheat Frosted Mixed Berry, sprinkles, nuts, and coconut flakes. My kid’s favorite variation was the one covered with crushed cereal since the cereal adds a little crunch.
