AKA – Green Bean Fries!
What’s better than sauteed or roasted green beans? Fried green beans of course! We can’t get enough of these “Green Bean Fries” that we first tried at a restaurant years ago. Now we make them at home and especially love them for game day appetizers or dinner parties with friends and family! These are great on their own, but we love dipping ours in cold Ranch Dressing. If you’re a fan of delicious fried appetizers, you’ll also love Fried Zucchini, Jalapeño Poppers, and Fried Mac and Cheese!
Ingredients
PREP TIME: 15 minutes COOK TIME: 10 minutes
1 pound fresh green beans – If needed, trim the ends. ½ cup all-purpose flour 1 egg 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs – We use Italian style. Add extra spice using black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, and paprika. 2 cups vegetable oil – Use a cooking oil with a high smoking point. Vegetable oil, canola oil, and peanut oil are all good choices. Be sure the oil reaches about 375°F.
How to make fried Green Beans
