We Love Gooey!

We took our classic Rice Krispie Treats and took them to a whole new fruity level by making them with Fruity Pebbles! These treats are not only a hit with the kids, but with adults too. What’s not to love:

Easy. The best part is they only require a few ingredients and a few minutes to make – a great dessert recipe for kids to try. Quick With only a smidge of time, you can enjoy these fruity marshmallow bars. Beautiful. These eye-popping colorful bars are great for St. Patrick’s Day, a birthday party or an after school snack.

Only 3 Ingredients

butter – I use unsalted butter, but you can use salted butter. Another option is to use melted coconut oil. large (jumbo) marshmallows – 1 regular marshmallow = 13 mini marshmallows Fruity Pebble Cereal – this recipe also works with other “Krispie” cereals like plain rice krispies or cocoa pebbles all work.

Storing Tips

STORE. Keep Fruity Pebble rice crispy treats in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Stick a slice of white bread in the container to help keep the treats soft. FREEZE. Store the entire block or as individual treats. Wrap in plastic wrap then wrap again with foil or place in a Ziploc. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw before eating.
