Who here loves LUCKY CHARMS?! It’s a cereal the whole family loves. Honestly though, we love all treats, especially Rice Krispies Treats, so we combined these two loves to make Lucky Charms Treats – a new favorite dessert. Why we love them:
Few Ingredients. This fun treat takes minutes to make with only a handful of ingredients. Quick and Easy. Cereal treats are so simple that it’s a go-to easy dessert for kids to make. Any day. This is a family favorite for St. Patrick’s Day but delicious snacking all year long!
Only 3 Ingredients
Lucky Charms Cereal – General Mills will sometimes make an all-green St. Patrick’s Day version of their Lucky Charm Cereal which would be fun. Store-brand versions of this cereal also work in this recipe. large (Jumbo) marshmallows – 1 jumbo marshmallow = 13 mini marshmallows, 8 regular marshmallows = 1 cup, 50 mini marshmallows = ½ cup mini marshmallows, 5 regular marshmallows = ½ cup butter – I like unsalted butter, but you can use salted butter. Or try a dairy-free butter substitute.
How to Make Lucky Charms Treats
Storing Info
STORE Lucky Charms marshmallow treats in an airtight container at room temperature. Separate cereal bars layers with wax, or parchment paper. They should easily stay soft for 2-3 days. They will begin to dry out after that but are still safe to eat. FREEZE. Lucky Charms Rice Krispie treats are especially fun to toss in your kids’ lunch boxes or as an after school snack. After cutting, place each treat in a fold-top sandwich bag, then place them together in a freezer Ziploc. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
