A Christmas Tree Treat!
You don’t need much to make this ADORABLE (and delicious) holiday treat! We love to have some quick Christmas goodies on deck for sharing with friends and neighbors or enjoying as a family night treat. Mini Nutella Christmas trees are a favorite. The main ingredients are puffy pastry and Nutella (the kids fav), then you just need a little sugar and spice to make them SO nice. 😉 The kids love helping with these cute little trees and love the taste even more (they’ve asked to make them again at least a dozen times). They are easy enough that they can do it all, but their favorite part is shaping them with these amazing star skewers (what a great find)! PREP TIME: 25 minutes COOK TIME: 14 minutes
2 puff pastry sheets ½ cup Nutella, or more if needed – or another chocolate spread or even fruit jelly 1 egg 1 tablespoon water cinnamon sugar mix – combine ¼ cup granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon powdered sugar – sifted wooden skewer – plain skewers or star skewers
