Nutella + Brownies = LOVE!

We are huge fans of Nutella at our home! The kids eat it any way they can, and we love to sneak into some of our favorite desserts! We did this with brownies to make Nutella brownies and holy moly – they’re incredibly delicious, fudgy and addicting. If you are a fan of the scrumptious hazelnut spread, you will definitely fall in love with these brownies. Other favorites include: Buckeye Brownies and Cheesecake Brownies.

Ingredients

BROWNIE LAYER

6 tablespoons butter – Melted butter gives moisture, but not too much lift, creating fudgy brownies and making them more dense than fluffy. 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 whole eggs 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder – Use normal unsweetened cocoa, dutch process cocoa, or dark chocolate cocoa. 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon baking powder

CREAM + NUTELLA LAYER

6 ounces cream cheese  1/4 cup heavy cream 1 tablespoon flour 1 egg 2 tablespoons heavy cream 2 tablespoons sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup Nutella®– or a similar brand of chocolate hazelnut spread Plus 3 tablespoons Nutella for the top
