Prep Time : 10 mins    Panchratna Dal – 1/4 cup    Brown Rice – 1/4 cup    White Rice – 1/4 cup    Salt needed    Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp    For the seasoning    Oil – 1 1/2 tbsp    Cumin seeds – 1 tsp    Cloves – 2    Cinnamon – 1 inch piece    Asafoetida/Hing – a pinch    Ginger – 1 inch piece    Green chilli -1 slit    Curry Leaves – a sprig    Top up seasoning    Clarified butter/Ghee – 1-2 tsp

Note – You can use 1/2 cup brown rice instead of adding 1/4 cup white rice. If you want it mushy, add more water.
