Peanut Butter Pie is the perfect dessert for anyone who loves Reese’s. It’s cool, creamy, beyond delicious and so easy to make. We especially love the sweet and salty flavor with the addition of the Oreo Crust. Honestly, it’s pie perfection!
Whether enjoyed as a special occasion dessert on holidays or a just-because kind of night, it’s a crowd-pleaser that will leave everyone wanting more. This chilled treat is especially perfect in the summer!
Ingredients
PREP TIME: 20 minutes CHILL TIME: 2 hours
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened ½ cup confectioners’ sugar – aka powdered sugar, sift to remove any clumps. ½ cup creamy peanut butter – use regular peanut butter as the natural peanut butter won’t set as well. 1 (16-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed divided – you can use store-bought Cool Whip or make homemade Whipped Cream. 1 (9-inch) prepared Oreo crust – You can make an Oreo Pie Crust, or purchase one at the store. chocolate Magic Shell 15 miniature Reese’s unwrapped and chopped – you can also chop regular-sized peanut butter cups. chocolate curls – use a vegetable peeler and a room-temperature chocolate bar to make curls. chocolate syrup – store-bought or homemade Chocolate Syrup.
