Homemade pigs in a blanket are the easiest appetizer/lunch/dinner idea you’ll ever make! The crescent dough makes these quick to put together for a meal with friends and family. Best of all? Ingredients
PREP TIME: 5 minutes ASSEMBLE TIME: 15 minutes
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls – or use 8 ounces of homemade Crescent Roll dough 8 hot dogs – Instead of plain hot dogs, use more savory brats such as Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Brats, Better Cheddar, or Smoked Brats. 1 egg – an egg wash helps seal the edges and provides a crispier golden brown finish. It also helps the sesame seeds adhere to the top of the dough. 1 tablespoon water sesame seeds – adds a slightly nutty flavor and visually finishes off the dish.
