Prep Time : 5 mins    Plantain/vazhakkai -2    Chilli Powder -3/4-1 tsp ( or as required)    Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp    Salt – as required    For the seasoning    Oil -3 tbsp    Mustard seeds – 1 tsp    Asafoetida -a pinch    Curry leaves – few leaves

Note – If you are not going to cook plantain immediately after chopping, then keep it in a bowl of water to prevent discoloration. I have used homemade chilli powder, if using store bought ones, use a little less.
