Snake gourd -3 cups chopped Oil -2 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder – a pinch Salt to taste For the seasoning Mustard seeds -1 tsp Urad dal – 1 tsp Red chillies -3 Hing- a pinch Curry leaves – few Recipe Instructions Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add urad dal, red chillies, hing and curry leaves. When dal turns golden brown, add the chopped snake gourd, turmeric powder and cook covered. Serve as a side dish for sambar rice or rasam sadam or curd rice.
