How to Make 7 Layer Bean Dip
Storing Tips
The dip needs at least an hour to chill before serving but can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
Our favorite chips are Juanita’s. They’re light, airy, and crispy! We also like Tostino’s Cantina Thin and Crispy Chips and Fritos. If we have time, we’ll make Homemade Tortilla Chips (fried), or Baked Tortilla Chips. You can also spoon this dip onto dishes like Chicken Tacos or Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas
Make ahead of time. If covered with plastic wrap, this layered bean dip recipe can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Wait to add chopped tomatoes and the greens (cilantro, green onions, etc) until right before serving. STORE. Leftover 7-layer dip can be stored in an airtight container for up to 48 hours in the fridge. The guac makes it harder to last longer, but it can be enjoyed the next day.
